Salinas, Italy
I got this shot on the remote Island of Salinas, in the Liparian Islands just off the north coast of Sicily. Stomboli is also in this island group. Coincidentally, on this trip, I also visited another island, Procida, in the Bay of Naples, where I photographed image # 131. It turns out that these two remote places where the principal locations for the filming of the great film:” Il Postino”.
