I found this scene in a wonderful courtyard of an old convent that had been converted to an upscale hotel. At the time, in the early 1990’s, I was traveling on a shoe string budget and remember thinking that this was a place that was out of my reach. Ten years later, I returned to Queretaro, and again stumbled upon this same courtyard, where this time, I was could afford to spend the night.
